2025 Senior "Citizen" Prom
Dancing Through the Decades: Senior "Citizen" Prom Celebrates Its 4th Year

Let's Do It Again!

On Friday, August 2nd, the Rotary Club of Fayetteville hosts its 4th annual Senior Citizen Prom at Flat Creek Country Club—an evening filled with joy, music, and meaningful connection.

This year’s theme, “Let’s Do It Again,” captures the spirit of celebration and togetherness that’s made this event a community favorite.

This beloved tradition has become one of the highlights of our service calendar, and this year’s prom was proudly led by Club President Vickie Butler, whose dedication to service continues to inspire our club and community.

Seniors ages 65 and older attended free of charge, and all proceeds from the event benefit Friends of the Fayette County Public Library, supporting literacy and lifelong learning throughout the community.

Guests will enjoy a night of dancing, door prizes, delicious food, and celebration—all made possible by the generosity of local sponsors and volunteers. And to top off the evening, a new Prom King and Queen will be crowned—because everyone deserves their moment to shine.

The Senior Citizen Prom is just one way Rotary brings people together through fellowship and service, creating lasting memories and honoring those who’ve paved the way.
