Stories about Rotary as told by our membership.
The Rotary Club of Fayetteville celebrates its 4th annual Senior Citizen Prom on August 2nd at Flat Creek Country Club. Led this year by President Vickie Butler and themed “Let’s Do It Again,” the event brought seniors together for a night of dancing, joy, and community connection. Guests 62 and older attend free, with all proceeds benefiting Friends of the Fayette County Public Library. The evening concludes with the crowning of a Prom King and Queen—capping off a night dedicated to honoring those who helped shape our community. [more]

Senior Citizen Prom planning is underway — sponsors still needed!
Partnered with the Friends of the Fayette County Public Library for service and events.
Volunteered at Midwest Food Bank to fight food insecurity.
Sponsored four students to attend RYLA: Kai & Zoe Kinard (The Forest School), Gabrielle Johnson (Sandy Creek), and Samira Eldawi (Whitewater).
Grew our public image through social media, storytelling, and outreach.
Welcomed new members: Benardo Sellers, Dominique Downing, and Laura Weishaar.
Added new officer roles to expand engagement and leadership.
As we pass the gavel to incoming President Vickie Butler, we embrace the 2025–2026 Rotary theme: "Unite for Good", guided by District Governor Steve Ivory and the Rotary Action Plan.
